37 Studios
The Standard
Every object is measured against it.
These principles are not invented. They are observed. Every 37 Studios release conforms to them—not because they were written down, but because they have always been true. Five standards. No exceptions.
Materials
Every material is chosen for permanence. Cotton from a single Egyptian delta farm. Gold assayed and weighed before integration. Thread, hardware, and components selected not by cost, but by how they endure.
What cannot last a generation is not considered.
Connected Philosophy
Engineering
Every object is specified before it is made. Dimensions, tolerances, and construction sequences are documented in advance. The drawing precedes the hand. Tolerances are held to 0.2mm.
The drawing precedes the hand.
Connected Philosophy
Scarcity
Production is finite. Each release is numbered, and when the run is complete, no more are made. Scarcity is not a marketing strategy—it is a structural decision made before the first piece exists.
What is rare remains rare.
Connected Philosophy
Documentation
Every object is recorded. Photography at fixed angles. Specifications, serial numbers, material provenance, and ownership transfers preserved alongside the object itself.
The record outlives the object.
Connected Philosophy
Inspection
Nothing leaves uninspected. Each piece is weighed against its nominal. Metal is verified by assay. Serials are registered in the 37 Registry. The threshold for release is zero defects.
The threshold is zero.
Connected Philosophy
A standard is not a goal. It is a threshold. Below it, nothing leaves. At it, nothing is compromised. Above it, there is only excellence.
